The Atlantic Hotel & Spa offers sophisticated style, providing guests with personalized service in an intimate setting. The following employment opportunities are available for qualified applicants: 

ACCOUNTING

  • Accounting Clerk - Part time

Monitor group master accounts from check-in through checkout, ensuring correctness of billing. 

Prepare and post city ledger adjustments as needed.

Prepare and mail invoices with proper documentation same day as transferred to Accounts Receivable.

Prepare and mail individual travel voucher accounts with proper documentation same day transferred to Accounts Receivable.

Research and respond to all credit card charge backs within time limits set by credit card companies, processing the necessary adjustments when required.

Research and respond to all individual travel agent commission inquiries in a timely manner. 

Prepare adjustments to reflect receipt of payments from credit card companies upon notification from the bank.

Prepare deposit list for cash and check receipts. 

CULINARY

  • Line Cook - Full time

Manage all aspects of food production for banquets, including food preparation according to the description. Adhere to sanitation practices.

Prepare food items for customers using a quality predetermined method in a timely and consistent manner.

Set up station with predetermined mise en place required to service all banquet functions.

Practice sanitation and safety daily to ensure total customer satisfaction.

FRONT OFFICE

  • Guest Services Agent - Full time

Greet and welcome guests upon arrival. Register guests into the computer, verifying reservation, address and credit information.

Accept payment for guests' accounts both at the time of registration and at checkout.

Maintain a house bank and make a deposit and accurate report of receipts daily. Cash checks and exchange currency for guests.

Issue key to and control entrance of safety deposit boxes. Post miscellaneous charges as requested.

  • Guest Services Call Center Representative - Full time

Process guest reservation requests.

Manage large amounts of incoming calls in a timely manner.

Handle in-house guest requests and inquiries focusing on customer satisfaction.

Ability to multi-task, set priorities and manage time effectively.

  • Front Desk Lead - Full time

Greet and welcome guests upon arrival. Register guests into the computer, verifying reservation, address, and credit information. Promote The Atlantic Hotel IPrefer Guest Program and provide recognition and benefits to all present members.

Accept payment for guests’ accounts both at the time of registration and at checkout. Maintain a house bank and make a deposit and accurate report of receipts daily. Cash checks and exchange currency for guests. 

Supervise the front desk agents, ensuring the correct sequence of events for proper registration and checkout of guests. Assign specific tasks to front desk agents relative to credit, missing addresses, registration bucket maintenance, registration cards, posting charges, and overall cleanliness and organization of the front desk.

Provide ongoing training and support to front desk agents.

Issue key to and control entrance of safety deposit boxes. Post miscellaneous charges as requested.

Maintain all front desk related equipment and a par stock of supplies.

Must be able to speak, read, write and understand the primary language(s) used in the workplace. 

Requires good communication skills, both verbal and written. Must possess basic computational ability and basic computer skills.

Working knowledge of federal, state and local laws governing equal employment opportunity and civil rights, occupational safety and health, wage and hour issues, and labor relations, including, but not limited to the following statutes and their comparable state and local laws (where applicable): Title VII, ADEA, Equal Pay Act, Pregnancy Discrimination Act, FLSA, ADA, OSHA, FMLA, and NLRA.

SPA

  • Front Desk Agent - Part time

Greet and welcome guests upon arrival. Register guests into the computer, verifying reservation, address, and credit information. Issue locker keys and have guest sign locker notice.

Accept payment for guests’ accounts both at the time of registration and at checkout. Maintain a house bank and make a deposit and accurate report of receipts daily. Cash checks and exchange currency for guests. 

Promote Spa products and Beach House merchandise. Post miscellaneous charges as requested by guest or supervisor.  

Must be able to speak, read, write and understand the primary language(s) used in the workplace.

Requires good communication skills, both verbal and written. Must possess basic computational ability and basic computer skills.

General knowledge of the city where hotel is located and its attractions.

Extensive knowledge of the hotel, its services and facilities.

  • Hair Stylist On-Call
  • Pool Attendant - Part time

Assist guests with their service needs at the pool to include chair, towel, and umbrella service.

Assist guests courteously and efficiently according to hotel and Preferred Hotels standards.

Adhere to all the opening and closing duties.

Generate a good atmosphere.

Ensure all pool furniture, chairs and tables are neatly arranged and clear of debris.

Adhere to towel card standard operating procedures.

Provide guests with towel and chair service.

Open all umbrellas, clean table tops, and wipe off all chairs.

Other duties and responsibilities may be assigned.

The employee is expected to work in other areas of the hotel when needed to assist operations to perform job duties not necessarily contained in this job description.

High School diploma or general education degree. Experience preferred.
