The Atlantic Hotel & Spa offers sophisticated style, providing guests with personalized service in an intimate setting. The following employment opportunities are available for qualified applicants: 


  • Cook - Full time

Manage all aspects of food production for banquets, including food preparation according to the description. Adhere to sanitation practices.

Prepare food items for customers using a quality predetermined method in a timely and consistent manner.

Set up station with predetermined mise en place required to service all banquet functions.

Practice sanitation and safety daily to ensure total customer satisfaction.

  • Sous Chef - Full time

Ability to produce diversified menus in accordance with the restaurant's policy and vision.

Develop new dishes which appeal to clients.

Establish the working schedule and organize the work in the kitchen.

Train auxiliary kitchen staff in order to provide best results in minimum time and using available resources.

Maintain order and discipline in the kitchen during working hours.

Ensure that the professional equipment is in good condition.

High School graduate or equivalent and solid cooking experience is required.

Good leadership, communication, organization, computer and financial skills are a must.


  • Engineer - Full time

Perform general repairs and services in all maintenance related disciplines, including but not limited to: carpentry, mechanics, plumbing, minor electrical, finish work, etc.

Prioritize work orders through urgent requests and established hotel area down times in order to minimize inconveniencing guests.

Effective communication with department managers is required.

Respond to guest room calls as required.

Complete any and all assigned preventative maintenance procedures.


  • Restaurant Host/Hostess - Part time

Control the flow of work in the room by seating guests in station rotation while maintaining guest lists.

Assign opening and closing side duties.

Handle reservation book, take incoming telephone calls, note reservations and special requests by guests.

Assist in table setting and general dining room maintenance during peak periods.

Knowledge of all menu items, prices and general service procedures.

Ability to work varying schedules to reflect the business needs of the hotel.

Requires reading, writing and oral proficiency in the English language with excellent communication skills.

Must possess basic computational ability and basic computer skills.

  • Restaurant Bussers - Part time

Reset tables in a speedy, professional and effective manner as guests leave the restaurant.

Responsible for grooming the entire restaurant and its perimeters, as well as supporting servers and service staff with refills and clearing tables. Others duties will be expected as need arises.

  • Restaurant Servers - Part time

Take orders for and serve all food and beverage requests, using suggestive selling techniques.

Clear tables during service.

Control guest checks and secure proper payment.

Ensure station and table set-ups are complete and perform various side duties as assigned by the Outlet Supervisor.

Maintain proper condition and cleanliness of dining areas and servicing equipment.


  • Guest Services Agent - Full time

Greet and welcome guests upon arrival. Register guests into the computer, verifying reservation, address and credit information.

Accept payment for guests' accounts both at the time of registration and at checkout.

Maintain a house bank and make a deposit and accurate report of receipts daily. Cash checks and exchange currency for guests.

Issue key to and control entrance of safety deposit boxes. Post miscellaneous charges as requested.

  • Guest Services Call Center Representative - Full time

Process guest reservation requests.

Manage large amounts of incoming calls in a timely manner.

Handle in-house guest requests and inquiries focusing on customer satisfaction.

Ability to multi-task, set priorities and manage time effectively.


  • Spa Concierge - Part time

Greet and welcome guests upon arrival. Register guests into the computer, verifying reservation, address, and credit information. Issue locker keys and have guest sign locker notice.

Accept payment for guests’ accounts both at the time of registration and at checkout. Maintain a house bank and make a deposit and accurate report of receipts daily. Cash checks and exchange currency for guests. 

Promote Spa products and Beach House merchandise. Post miscellaneous charges as requested by guest or supervisor.  

Must be able to speak, read, write and understand the primary language(s) used in the workplace.

Requires good communication skills, both verbal and written. Must possess basic computational ability and basic computer skills.

General knowledge of the city where hotel is located and its attractions.

Extensive knowledge of the hotel, its services and facilities.

  • Hair Stylist - On Call
  • Pool Attendant - Part time

Assist guests with their service needs at the pool to include chair, towel, and umbrella service.

Assist guests courteously and efficiently according to hotel and Preferred Hotels standards.

Adhere to all the opening and closing duties.

Generate a good atmosphere.

Ensure all pool furniture, chairs and tables are neatly arranged and clear of debris.

Adhere to towel card standard operating procedures.

Provide guests with towel and chair service.

Open all umbrellas, clean table tops, and wipe off all chairs.

Other duties and responsibilities may be assigned.

The employee is expected to work in other areas of the hotel when needed to assist operations to perform job duties not necessarily contained in this job description.

High School diploma or general education degree. Experience preferred.
